Shibboleth

Clausthal University of Technology is a member of the AAI federation DFN AAI advanced. Using the procedure known as Shibboleth, members of Clausthal University of Technology can identify themselves to external service providers as members of the TUC in order to gain access to protected content.

To check your access rights, you will usually be asked to select your home institution on the external service provider's website. If you are not yet authenticated, you will be redirected to a corresponding TU Clausthal page to log in with your RZ user ID. A "digital ID" is then created and checked by the provider when you are redirected back to the provider.
