WLAN RF planning

Providing stable Wi-Fi coverage is becoming increasingly important in an age of increasingly mobile devices such as laptops, tablets and smartphones.

A prerequisite for the correct operation of the WLAN infrastructure is the planning of the installation of access points (APs) in order to avoid problems caused by interference, gaps in coverage etc. due to poor positioning. For WLAN installations, RF planning must therefore always be carried out, which the computer center offers to the institutes of Clausthal University of Technology.
This includes

  • Planning the installation
  • Simulation of coverage/interference etc.
  • On-site measurement
  • Preparation of a measurement report.
