Sehr geehrte Nutzerinnen und Nutzer der Dienste des Rechenzentrums,
leider ist unumgänglich, dass ein aktualisiertes WLAN-Profil nebst neuer Zertifikate auf Windows-PCs und Macs installiert werden muss: Im Juli 2023 laufen die Basis-Zertifikate zur Nutzung des "eduroam"-WLAN aus. Das durch das Rechenzentrum bereit gestellte neue Profil ist bereits nutzbar, ein Abwarten bis zu einem bestimmten Installationszeitpunk ist nicht notwendig.
Sie finden die Installationsanleitung und das jeweilige Profil zum Download in unserer Dokumentation:

Wird das Paket durch Sie nicht installiert, erhalten Sie nach Ablauf der alten Zertifikate eine Fehlermeldung beim Verbindungsversuch. Eine Installation des neuen Paketes erst nach dem Stichtag ist dann gemäß unserer Anleitungen auch aus dem WLAN-GUEST bzw. jedem Institutsnetz heraus problemlos möglich.

Dear users of the services of the data center,
unfortunately, it is unavoidable that an updated WIFI profile including new certificates must be installed on Windows PCs and Macs: In July 2023, the basic certificates for using the "eduroam" WIFI will expire. The new profile provided by the data center is already usable, waiting until a certain installation time is not necessary.

If the package is not installed by you, you will receive an error message when trying to connect after the old certificates expire. An installation of the new package after the deadline is possible according to our instructions also from the WLAN-GUEST or any institute network without any problems.
