What are the possibilities of communication?
To maintain communication, the data center offers various services:
- Videoconferencing servers: For TU members (i.e. students and staff*) the BigBlueButton service is available. This can be used for meetings of working groups in the scientific field, but also for meetings among students and of course for exchange between teachers and students. Important information on the use of the service in the context of lecture digitisation is provided in the documentation of the service.
- Communication via chat server (Rocketchat) - also via chat client/desktop app
- Telephone (call forwarding, answering machine, conferences etc.)
- Communication via e-mail (as usual)
We are constantly expanding the capacities of our already established services.
We are grateful for possible expansions or the naming of errors that occur when using them. As far as necessary, we will examine the provision of additional services to facilitate the work in the home office or to expand the possibilities.
